Instead, during a Reiki session, the recipient lies down or sits, with closed eyes, fully clothed while the practitioner places his hands gently on or slightly above specific areas of the receiver’s body. This process is known as physical-contact Reiki session, touching gently the body and transmitting through hands. However, Reiki can also be transmitted in distance and sent to anyone regardless the location. During the Reiki treatment the person lies on a bed, in his clothes, with closed eyes, while listening to specific music and frequencies that support the healing process. Ajita places her hands gently on the receiver’s body. During this process the receiver may feel warmth, tingling, deep relaxation or even sleep. These responses indicate that the energy is working to restore balance. The duration of the Reiki treatment is 1 hour.
How a remote OSHO Neo Reiki session is done? Is there Reiki online?
Yes. Reiki remote session is just as effective as in-person sessions. Universal Life Force energy that lies in everything is not limited by time or space. Through intention and meditation, the practitioner can send Reiki energy to the receiver without physical contact, regardless of location.
The session can be done either through online meeting or just by setting a specific time where both practitioner and receiver are available and can be present for the whole duration of the session.
The process of a remote session is same with the physical contact session, except that the receiver now lays down or sits at his own space, having taken care of not being interrupted during the whole duration of the session. Reiki is sent through practice of the 2nd level of OSHO Neo Reiki, without physical contact. The distant Reiki treatment lasts 45 minutes.

About OSHO Neo Reiki
OSHO Neo Reiki has its roots in the traditional Reiki ‘Usui Shiki Ryoho – the Usui System of Natural Healing”. Ιn his effort to find a healing method for man the Japanese Dr Mikao Usui, after many years of research and meditation, rediscovered in the beginning of the 20th century, the knowledge of Reiki. Since then he practiced and taught Reiki for many years. Dr Mikao Usui trained and initiated his disciples into Reiki Masters who kept teaching and spreading Reiki in the world.
In 1998 Pyaso started facilitating Reiki groups in OSHO International in Pune, India, in 1988. Osho gave his name in these groups. At that time the name of the course was Rajneesh Neo Reiki and later, on September 12 1989 when his name changed to Osho, the courses were renamed OSHO Neo Reiki.
